Two photos (one above, one via the link below) surfaced this week of what is purported to be the interior of the R8 e-tron. If that is the case (and we're guessing it is), then this begs the question of how much of these changes will also be seen in the new and facelifted audi R8 when it debuts likely at the Paris Motor Show in September.
What Do We See?
The most obvious change here is a much bigger
Ever since Audi first showed its 400-hp Q5 design study at Worthersee in 2009 (and again at the SEMA Show in 2010), blogs and car magazines have theorized at possible S and RS versions of Audi's 5-passenger crossover. Most recently we've stumbled across this RS Q5 render by Andrei Avarvarii who is well known for his renders published in German car magazines like Autobild.
So What Do We Think?
The Audi Q3 moves ever close to production with market availability expected (in Europe at least) by the end of the year. Knowing that car is so soon in the shoot, we've not been surprised over the last few weeks to see disguised test mules out and about testing.
We've just stumbled across a set of shots published by our friends Audiblog.nl that show the car from multiple angles. We're not positive,
Check out these images of an S5 Cabriolet we've found over at Audiblog.nl. The car appears to be a stock Ibis White S5 Cabriolet with 20-inch wheel option other than what appears to be an OEM front fascia from the RS 5.
There's no actual confirmation that the piece is the RS 5 piece or something new from Audi but we're guessing it is the stock RS piece. Knowing though is interesting because
As part of our ongoing series on special build cars by Audi Exclusive, this particular Audi TT RS popped onto our radar when it was featured on TT-Forum.co.uk. Malibu Blue is the reported name of this light blue metallic. Admittedly we've had a light blue Audi of our own, namely a Jet Blue S5 that we parted company with earlier this year but we're not sure yet about this one. Of course the TT RS looks amazing
Audiblog.nl is having a Java Green fest apparently, posting photos of several Audis painted in this metallic green hue. The collection includes the above R8, an A5 and a second-generation TT but be aware that the TT shot features a topless model and is NSFW.
More after the jump.
This isn't the first Imola Yellow R8 we've seen or even posted in our Audi News Blog before but this latest car posted over on Audiblog.nl grabbed our attention just the same. There's something about painting the R8 in that gold hue made mainstream on the B5 S4 that emphasizes the car's exotic nature. No, we wouldn't order one in Imola and most owners don't, preferring greys, blacks and silvers according to
We can't say it'd be our first choice when ordering an R8 but Java Green is definitely a cool color. We've just found photos of this car over on AudiBlog.nl. Check out more shots after the jump.
