The boys at Rob Austin Racing are getting close... very close to ushering in a new era of Audi competition in the BTCC. A privateer effort that will assuredly have their hands full competing with factory backed teams from companies like BMW and even Audi sister brand SEAT , we're most enthused to watch as this REAR-WHEEL DRIVE B8 A4 cuts it up in against other UK touring teams.
We're going to an Acerbus render for the second time today and for good reason. Having gone ahead and imagineered an Avant version of the new C7 A6, Acerbus also went ahead and tailroed it in RS spec. As with his usual work, Acerbus kept it with knwon styling cues such as oval rims, RS 5/ TT RS style rear valance and subtle box flares as seen on the current RS 6.
So What Do We Think?
Over several years of Super Bowl advertising Audi has taken various levels of interest in the on-site aspect of its promotion. This year, with the all-new A8 in the mix, Audi went big by creating the temporary but no less impressive Audi Forum Dallas in which to entertain its guests.

Rumors have been floating around that Audi Sport was headed for Florida for some early testing ahead of the ILMC season opener at Sebring. Now, thanks to Floridian photographer James Boone, we can pull this story out of the rumor category. Audi Sport was on hand today at Sebring along with a few other teams doing their first (semi) public shakedowns of both last year's R15 plus and two Audi R18s marked #1 and #2.
It's an acquired taste I suspect but Porsche's Viper Green is a staple amongst anyone with a Porsche 911 familiarity. Be it an early '70s long hood or a modern 997 GT3 RS, this vibrant and most primary green offers a very unique take on the "look at me damnit" color palette. Occasionally you'll find an Audi painted in the hue as we have here and, most fitting, it is painted on an RS. It's a TT RS
