Last week marked press days for the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show, which also meant several North American reveals for Audi. Among the stars of the Audi stand were the R8 GT Spyder, the S8, S7 and S6. Also on display, though more conceptual in nature, were the Audi e-tron Spyder and also an A3 with experimental e-tron drivetrain.

Celebrity Cars blog has shots of actor Robert Downey Junior sporting a black Audi A7 this past weekend in Los Angeles. Given Audi's tie with Downey's blockbuster Iron Man series, we're not surprised the actor has chosen a four-ringer as his daily ride though he gets extra style points for picking the A7. An eagle-eyed Jalopnik reader caught a camera crew with the Audi quattro Concept earlier today in Malibu near the Pacific Coast Highway. Running non-concept RS 5 wheels, the car was on public roads and refuelling at a gas station, accompanied by several people and a camera crew toting Q5.

Today is the first press day of the 2010 LA Auto Show and, as expected, Audi has stacked its booth with all North American launch automobiles. While there's nothing as-of-yet-unseen being revealed, there's plenty to see that hasn't yet made a showing Stateside in the past.
