Have you heard about one of the latest videos going viral on Youtube involving a Russian hit and run by an Audi R8? Filmed near Moscow State University, a common spot for street racers and drifting, the short clip shows a white Audi R8 go into a wide drift on a cross street and sideswiping a Lada sedan as it re-enters traffic.
There's talk amongst critics that the film may have been staged as the camera man
Audi Germany has just passed the 500,000 fans mark on Facebook and to celebrate they've made a cool new video starring Dindo Capello and an Audi R8 coupe. If the drifting and spinning of tires of an Audi sportscar floats your boat, then please do watch below or follow Audi Germany of Facebook HERE.
Our spy photographer sources have just sent us over a new set of shots of the R8 e-tron test mule of which a few photos surfaced yesterday. Photographers tell us this mule rounded the Ring quite quietly though we're checking to see if it was employing any of the e-sound elements that Audi defined recently.
Obvious e-tron design cues such as those on earlier
Last August we ran a story about an Audi R8 GT painted by Audi Exclusive in Signal Green, photos of which had been posted over at AutoGespot. For those unfamiliar with the hue, Signal Green is almost a basic non-metalic primary green that was a popular color of choice for German cars in the early 70s. B1 Audi 80 (a.k.a. Audi Fox) models were available in the color as was the Porsches of the time and especially the 911 RS.
We're impressed by Lady Gaga's taste. It would appear from these X17Online photos that the avant garde music star has picked up (or perhaps borrowed) a Daytona Grey V10 coupe complete with carbon blades and titanium wheels.
Many outlets reporting the story have suggested the car is an uber rare R8 GT, with one even running video of a similar looking GT shot in the dealer inventory of Sunset Audi. Paparazzi photos
We met up a few weeks ago with Audi of America R8 product planner Mark Fruechtnicht at the local Neato Burrito. Fruechtnicht was in the area doing a site visit at a local Audi dealership and this gave us an both an excuse to enjoy a great burrito and talk shop about Audi and the R8. The conversation eventually turned to Audi Exclusive and Fruechtnicht admitted that one of his favorite
Swedish skiing sensation and Red Bull sponsored athlete Jon Olsson established himself firmly as a certified car buff when he began to show up to the slopes in a snow camo wrapped Gallardo that made its own share of waves. So how do you follow up such a ride to the ski slopes? We've been watching Olsson's blog closely over the
One of the photos we've encountered today with the press release from Audi's new AutoStadt pavilion included this R8 GT Spyder seen on display in Wolfsburg. We've only seen a few GT Spyders so far and hadn't yet seen a silver example so figured it was worth sharing.

Two photos (one above, one via the link below) surfaced this week of what is purported to be the interior of the R8 e-tron. If that is the case (and we're guessing it is), then this begs the question of how much of these changes will also be seen in the new and facelifted audi R8 when it debuts likely at the Paris Motor Show in September.
What Do We See?
The most obvious change here is a much bigger
Audi tv has released a new video celebrating five years of production of the R8. Most of the video is footage of Audi's mid-engine supercar in various guises (coupe, Spyder, 4.2, 5.2, GT), though the very end of the video gets even more interesting as a shadowy image reveals the facelifted R8 due later this year. Not much can be gleaned from the pic (seen above), but it appears the R8 has a fixed rear wing and smaller grille inlets
