  1. Find of the Day: Skip Barber Campus at Lime Rock Park

We usually reserve Find of the Day listings to cars but it's not every day you get an email entitled 'From Skip Barber (the person)' from Lime Rock Park. It seems Mr. Barber is moving his business campus from Lime Rock to Road Atlanta and his current facilities comprising of three buildings are up for sale. Now, if we just had an extra $2.9M around the office....

  2. Find of the Day: Small Bumper Audi 4000 2-Door Project Basis or Clean Collectible

We've found a fairly rare find at a fair price on the Inland Empire (Riverside County, CA) Craigslist. At 98,000 miles, this early small-bumper with rare 2-door coupe configuration seems like a very reasonable deal at $1,100 or best offer. Shown in high-resolution photos (rare for Craigly listings), the car looks to be painted a 70's kitsch cool mustard yellow with check fabric and again fairly ...
  3. Find of the Day: Museum Quality 7,000 Mile 1983 Audi Coupe GT from NJ listed on Ebay

Let's face it, unless they're an ur quattro, pristine Audis from the B2 generation have simply disappeared. Short of the ur with its then exotic pricing north of the Porsche 911, the squarish B2s were bought and driven... well, not all of them. We've just found perhaps the nicest example of an early small bumper Coupe GT we've ever seen.

This 1983 GT is located in Wall, NJ and features a hair over 7,000 miles on the ...
  4. Find of the Day: Restored 1983 Ur quattro, One of the Nicest American quattros We've Seen

If you've ever fancied owning an original Audi quattro then you may want to sit up and take notice. This red example with just 58K miles on the docket is one of the nicest we've seen this side of the Atlantic... at least based on the pics.

The most ardent car collectors may not appreciate that the car isn't entirely stock... fitted with Euro bumpers, Euro blacked out taillights, euro headlights, ...
  5. Find of the Day: "Restored" 1984 Audi 4000 quattro on New Hampshire Craigslist

Heads up for those into vintage and affordable Audis. The venerable ur quattro may get all the glory but one of our favorite of those early 80s Audis tends to be much cheaper and, these days and in good condition, proves to be the harder find. Okay, so the 1984 4000 quattro may not have the sex appeal of the box-flared coupe nor does it have a turbo but it does represent the only year for America where ...
  6. On Market: 2008 Audi S4 with DTM Appearance Package & Only 405 Miles on Ebay

The B7 S4 has always been one of our favorite S-cars and we've just found one very nice example on Ebay. A 2008 this car features only 405 miles and features the rare sport appearance package that used components from the European A4 DTM model complete with real carbon fiber accents. The carbon looks particularly good compared with the car's dark grey paint.

    More after the jump.

    Original Listing ...
  7. Find of the Day: 1957 Audi / DKW Munga Beach Buggy on Crack

Here's something you don't see every day. Take one DKW Munga, built by Auto Union during the 50s primarily for military use. Paint it yellow, fit it with mudder tires and rally lights, swap in an aircooled VW boxer four and you have one very unique beach buggy. We've just found this beast for sale in Fort Lauderdale, FL and listed on Ebay.

Bidding is only at about $3K but there is a reserve so we've emailed the owner ...
  8. Find of the Day: Imola Yellow TT 3.2 S-line with Manual Transmission!

While spending the weekend in Audi of America's German market TTRS and rowing gears on its manual transmission, we couldn't help but wondering why more manual transmission TTs never made it to the USA. While the first-gen TT made due ONLY manual transmissions for most of its years, the second-gen car is practically the opposite with DSG S-tronic being the only choice almost across the board. I say 'almost' ...
  9. Find of the Day: Imola Yellow UrS6 on Ebay

The last of and most potent of Audi's legendary 5-cylinder turbo sold in America was that of the original S6 a.k.a. ur S6. Production ceased in the back half of the 1990s but these sedans and avants maintain a cult following. While rare, it's not hard to find well-maintained and often-modded versions for sale online but one in Imola Yellow... that's a bit of a find.

Given it's on Ebay we can't verify the condition ...
  10. Find of the Day: 1985 Audi Sport quattro and... Yes... It's Real
