    1. Video: Congratulations to FastLaneDaily on their 1000th Episode #FLD1000

Congratulations to JF Musial, Derek D, Alex Roy and the rest of the guys over at the web-hosted video series FastLaneDaily for their 1000th episode. The group just posted their 1K bit this week, showing how show host Derek Daily headed to the Nurburgring and logged two laps for $1,000.

Ever wonder about doing the same? We bet you'll find the episode both educational ...
    2. Hair Dress This! BMW 1 Series M and Aston V8 Vantage both Slower Than Audi TT RS 'Round the 'Ring

We just caught a VERY interesting headline today by our buddies over at Jalopnik. The story title reads "BMW 1 Series M Rounds Nürburgring Slower than Audi TT-RS". Okay Jalop, you have our attention.

Of course BMW hasn't published a lap time for its new M-ified 1er but the guys at Gawker's ...
    3. Four Ringer: Audi 50 Lapping the Nordshleife

One of our favorite sites must certainly be Nordschliefenbilder.de - the cataloguer extraordinaire of cool cars lapping the world's coolest test track. If you care to spend hours perusing countless photos of random German metal rounding the legendary Nurburgring then we highly suggest a visit.

As for today's selection of cars one of our favorites was this subtly ...
    4. Video: Audi A7 Spy Footage Shows Disguised Test Mule Under Tests

We've just stumbled across this footage (below) posted by VAUMAXde to YouTube. The footage shows an Audi A7 test mule from multiple angles testing everywhere from public roads to the Nurburgring. A7 mules have been spotted plenty in photos but not much video has been seen yet so we figured it was a must-watch for most on here.

We spotted the video over on GermanCarBlog.com with some ...
    5. More Spy Photos of Production Audi RS 3 Reveal Odd New Mechanical Roof Spoiler?

We've just finished making our post about the RS 3 and now found another set of photos on the same CarSpyShots.com website. This groups of shots show an impressively large rear spoiler seemingly angled the wrong way to create drag. CarSpyShots has two theories that the piece is either one very different mechanical spoiler design or a piece that is about to fall off.

      Frankly, it ...
    6. Near-Production Audi RS 3 Mule Testing at Nurburgring Undisguised

The Audi A3 chassis may be entering its final stages of production ahead of a switch to MQB but that's not stopping Audi from going full on with an RS 3 version of the car. We've seen modified S3-bodied mules believed to be RS 3 test cars running at the ring before but the latest shots like the one above from CarSpyPhotos.com show a car a lot closer to production trim.

      The most noticeable ...
    7. Audi A7 Spy Photos From Multiple Sources

As the upcoming Audi A7 nears its debut this fall in Paris, test mules continue to go through their paces and thus even more spy photos continue to roll in. We've found three new sets or shots this week and wanted to point them out.

      Piston Spy
Our favorite set including the shot above come from Piston Spy, our friends lucky enough to live near the 'Ring and film there often. Because ...
    8. Gallery Update: 24 Hours of Nurburgring Gallery Grows Including R8 GT Shots

Frequent Fourtitude contributor John Stahmann surprised us with a wide selection of photos from the 24 Hours of Nurburgring including some great detail shots of the new R8 GT. Seems John was in the general neighborhood of the Nurburgring and stopped by to watch the race, shooting hundreds of photos at the event that he's been kind enough to share ...
    9. New 24H of Nurburgring & ADAC App for iPhone, iPad and Android

You'd think with the seemingly limitless number of television channels and stations on Satellite Radio that car enthusiasts looking for coverage of series in other markets like Europe and Japan would have no problem monitoring most races much less iconic ones like the 24 Hours of Nurburgring. Alas, Americans still can't via TV or radio but the internet and various devices using it make no such barriers and we're ...
