When we last toured the quattro GmbH's R8 production line in Neckarsulm, Germany, we were told that most R8s are built in neutral shades such as white, silver, black or grey. Apparently the person who ordered this R8 V10 Spyder didn't get the memo. We've just uploaded our first photos from this weekend's ILMC round at Imola. As expected, Audi R18 #1 now wears a silver/red livery just like the #2 race-winning R18 TDI. #2 switches to the yellow-accented setup of the Le Mans #3 and not much unlike Audi's Imola Yellow paint hue.

There's a lot to love about the 5-cylinder TFSI Audi A1 clubsport quattro. We can think of at least 504 reasons. 503 of those might just be the 503 horses residing under the car's hood and at least one more is the cool A4 DTM-inspired side exit exhaust that may not be good for long-term paint maintenance aft the outlets but who cares... it's a concept.
