  1. Audi Releases Livery Pictures of R18 Ahead of Sunday's Le Mans Test

Audi has dropped a collection of photos from a recent test at Paul Riccard of the R18 testing with what appears to be full livery paint schemes. Interestingly, there's more than just the different access colors if these are the final paint schemes as cars like the #3 above seem to have more silver and less exposed carbon than cars like the #1 shown below. ...

  3. Video: On Location at Audi R18 Test in Sebring Florida, 17-Min Packed with Interview & Track Footage

Since last week when we attended the R18 test at Sebring Raceway following the running of the 12 Hours, we've been doing our best to push out as much content as possible. While we're not quite done (expect a written report and more photos), we've now uploaded a 500 pic photo gallery , some B-Roll footage of the car on track and some interview clips with ...
  4. Video: Fourtitude Interview Clips with Wolfgang Ullrich, Ullrich Baretzky and Howden Haynes at R18 Sebring Test

While on the ground at last week's R18 Test in Sebring Fourtitude had a chance to sit down with Wolfgang Ullrich, Ullrich Baretzky and Howden Haynes of Audi Sport to chat about the new car. On hand at the interview was Guerilla Video shooting for Audi of America who's shared their footage with us as we produce some of our own footage. ...
  5. 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans Poster Revealed, Surprisingly Starring the Audi R15 plus.

When planning the design of the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans race poster, those determining the look of the poster must've found themselves in a bit of a conundrum. Of course Audi would have to be featured as they'd only nabbed a 1-2-3 podium sweep at the 2010 race. Still, a race livery for the new R18 has yet to be revealed.

So what is a French race to do in such a case? Apparently the ACO decided to go with the current ...
  6. Endurance-Crea Takes Another Stab at 2011 Audi R18 Livery

Earlier this week we posted an image by Endurance-Crea envisioning this year's Audi R18 race livery. Up until now the only R18s we've seen have been in Audi Sport's typical new car testing paint scheme or exposed carbon fiber and/or matte black. To see the real race colors, you'll have to wait until Audi arrives with their car in Le Mans or perhaps even sooner during the official Le Mans ...
  7. More Proposed Audi R18 Liveries from Endurance-Crea

Our attention was most effectively grabbed yesterday when we spotted the shot above posted by Endurance-Crea and reposted by Audi Sport on Facebook. No, the photo is not official but until Audi Sport pulls the wraps off of its 2011 Le Mans spec R18 everyone is left guessing as to what the car might look like in full race livery. Endurance-Crea has grabbed our attention in the past with their creative photoshoppings of ...
  8. ACO Announces 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans and ILMC Participant List. Kolles Audis and Audi-Powered Spykers Absent.

The ACO has announced its participant lists for the 2011 24 Hours of Le Mans and the 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup this morning, lists that included a few things we'd expected and confirming the fate of the privateer Kolles Audi squad... at least for 2011.

To race at Le Mans and in the ILMC you need to be invited. In as much, Audi Sport ...
  9. Nissan Joins ILMC and LMS. P2 Means No Direct Audi Competition but New Factory Good for Sport

John Hindhaugh and the chaps at Radio Le Mans mentioned Nissan more times than one can count last year during their coverage of the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans. At the time Nissan was a sponsor, but it seemed certain they knew something was afoot. Could it have been a Z or GTR in GT2? Apparently not. This morning Nissan announced it'd join the ILMC and LMS for the 2010 season... at least as engine supplier... with Signature Racing ...
  10. New Photos Added form Audi R18 Test at Sebring

We've gotten our hands on even more photos from the Audi Sport test session held down at Sebring last week . Among the mix you can see even more angles of the evil-looking new Audi R18 racer as well as shots of regular faces you'd expect to see when Audi Sport comes to town including Tom Kristensen, Timo Bernhard, Dindo Capello and Mike Rockenfeller. We've posted all of the new shots below or check out the entire collection ...
