Audi news and features from publications and media outlets around the world.
We've found several sources for more next-gen Audi A6 images today so we've decided to post them all together in one update. Seems C7 A6 mules are making a regular commute down photographer's row and we all get to benefit from the tidal wave of photos.
Also interesting amongst the links below is a story published by CAR Magazine. We hold car amongst the most reliable journalistic
We'll make no secret that we love the A5 Sportback. With a shape somewhere between an Aston Martin Rapide and a Bentley Continental GT but the size of the more livable A5, it's really a perfect setup. We'd take ours in 3.0 TDI S-line trim were they sold in the U.S. but alas they're
With the Audi A7 now revealed, Ingolstadt continues on with an aggressive new product rollout strategy and next up is the next-generation Audi A6. The so-called C7 generation car will share similar size and thus component set of Audi's modular longitudinal chassis set (MLB) and, as you can see here, may be heavily disguised but appears very close to production.
Check out more photos at AutoWeek.nl. Thanks Hans
It's a PR nuisance: major magazine rings up the communications office looking to compare the latest, greatest offering with something else. Unless you win and win against something brag-worthy it's not really worth it. Given that, we wonder how Audi PR bosses viewed the pitch from Autobild to let a couple of six year olds pit their 1:2 scale motorized Auto Union Silburpfeil against a homemade rat rod of like scale.
Check out the photo we've just found over on Spyshots.nl depicting what is reported to be the next-generation Audi A6. As of right now there's not a whole lot to see though the car is most obviously an Audi. What is somewhat confusing is the camouflaged nose sporting what appears to be a new design though the remainder of the body appears to be the current generation car.
The Audi A6
We've just found one of the best photo sets to date of the upcoming Audi RS 3 super hot hatch. Presumably the car will use the same 350-hp 5-cylinder drivetrain of the TT RS but in the more utility-minded 5-door A3 Sportback chassis. These shots reveal a black example running pretty much production trim. Note the TT RS style chin spoiler.
We've found another Waterfest report from Audiworld.com. Usually galleries are more angles of the same stuff but we thought it was cool that Audiworld went over to shoot some stills of the drag racing on hand at Waterfest as well. Admittedly, we never made it over to the 'launchpad' so we'll live vicariously through them.
It just goes to show, a secret is only a secret until you tell someone. We're guessing some embargo photos went out to some outlet or another who managed to let these shots of the A7 slip out into the public domain about two days ahead of schedule. Why? The shots are legitimate from what we can tell and look like PR shots, while the selection is still just a few pics that
When it comes to automotive history and perspective, we can think of no better source than Brit-born Octane Magazine. From the same company that supplies EVO, Octane is essentially a similar formula to the typical British classic car mag but with a decidedly more stylish spin. That folks like Nick Mason (Audi Ambassador), Jay Leno and Stirling Moss are all columnists
Auto Motor und Sport has run an intel/rumor piece on the next-generation Audi A3. The story, in German, is accompanied by a number of artist renderings including a proposed RS 3 above. Here's a quick summary of the A M und S piece.
