Audiblog.nl is having a Java Green fest apparently, posting photos of several Audis painted in this metallic green hue. The collection includes the above R8, an A5 and a second-generation TT but be aware that the TT shot features a topless model and is NSFW.
More after the jump.
Audi has launched a petition for American consumers to gauge reaction and measure demand for the 350 hp Audi TT RS. We've known Audi of America is VERY serious about adding this car to its lineup and has been considering it for a while and this new social media blast to try to gain a measure for the number of hand raisers is a very good sign. Even better is their next step in producing a few video shorts via the Audi of America
Let's face it, unless they're an ur quattro, pristine Audis from the B2 generation have simply disappeared. Short of the ur with its then exotic pricing north of the Porsche 911, the squarish B2s were bought and driven... well, not all of them. We've just found perhaps the nicest example of an early small bumper Coupe GT we've ever seen.
This 1983 GT is located in Wall, NJ and features a hair over 7,000 miles on the
We've stumbled across a little classic Audi love over on Tinypic.com in the form of an Audi ur quattro template. A red original quattro such as this one has been tearing up the screens in the BBC series Ashes to Ashes and that car apparently inspired this paper cutout template.
The theory is simple.
1. Go to TinyPic and download the highest resolution version of the car.
2. Print with color printer
We're not certain but we suspect the spy photographers who nabbed this Ingolstadt plated A1 running big wheels may be correct that it is an S1 test mule. Few details are confirmed about the upcoming S-version making us suspect most of the rumors around the car are just that but most suggest a 1.4-liter turbocharged 4-banger.
Will it have quattro? If it doesn't it'll be the first S-car
Okay, to be fair, this isn't the first RS2-converted Audi coupe we've ever seen on the market. However, this one stands out more than any other we can ever remember for one very good reason.... consistency. We've NEVER seen an Audi coupe built to essentially RS 2 replica standards as this one has.
For those who don't know, the RS 2 was essentially an Audi S2 Avant massaged by Porsche
We don't know what's in the water in British Columbia where SR Auto Group is located but we hope they keep drinking it up because the modified Audis this Canadian shop calls their own leave us speechless nearly every time. Case in point is this so-called 'Phantom' Audi R8.
A mix of gloss and matte blacks
A friend of this website and contributor to the Speed Sport Life blog and regular on several Audi forums Nick Salvatore has just taken delivery of his new S5 and happily admits he dipped into the Audi Exclusive side of the order form to make sure his car was nearly one of a kind. Glut Orange is the hue, a non-metallic amber that is sure to get Nick and his car noticed. We've seen other Audis such as R8s and
Back in May we reported on Baltimore, Maryland's approval of a street course race by the IndyCar series planned for August 2011. Set to split the distance between Baltimore's Inner Harbor and Camden Yards where the Baltimore Orioles baseball team calls home, the event had
You may or may not remember last spring when Audi of America was kind enough to loan us their 1985 Sport quattro along with a few other cars and product planner Carter Balkcom in an effort to further augment the 2010 Carlisle Import Auto Show and its ever-growing Audi enthusiast group.
