It appears Audi was on location recently in southern California filming their e-tron Spyder concept. The last time we saw this silver example was when it was on location in Le Mans for a few demonstration laps, but it seems to have undergone at least a minor evolution since then. We've no details nor full list of changes, but the extra ventilation scoops on the hood are one obvious indication of at least a minor change.
Audi Germany has launched a great-looking new microsite as an offshoot of its German market consumer website Audi.de. Themed around the iconic advertising tagline ‘Vorsprung durch Technik’, this multi-media rich website highlights three modern technological pillars on which Ingolstadt is building its future: ultra, connect and e-tron.
More than likely, Audi enthusiasts likely know what each of these three
Two short videos have turned up this morning on YouTube depicting a small electric car with test mule psychedelic wrap on a video shoot location in Berlin's busy Potsdamer Platz. German car magazine Autobild is reporting this 1+1 city car that seems most obviously electric is actually a Frankfurt bound concept car known as the Audi e-tron Urban Concept.

Autocar sources suggest that when the A3 goes on sale with 3-door, 5-door Sportback, Cabriolet and
Audi AG is conducting another TechDay for Electromobility this week where they will reveal, among other electric cars, an e-tron prototype based on the current-generation Type 8P Audi A3 Sportback. We're still waiting for more details on the car, but for now we've got a collection of photos shown below and also via the link at the bottom of this post.
That the car is a
Holy exclusive! Its hard to come up with a virtually exclusive story in the auto industry but AutoExpress has managed it with a review of the Audi A5 e-tron (for now at least ). To create this latest e-tron prototype Audi took an A5 2.0T and ditched the drive shaft, installing an electric motor at the rear axle and filled the transmission tunnel with lithium ion batteries.
We've just added a photo gallery of the Audi stand and stands from other Volkswagen Group brand (Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Volkswagen) presented this week at the Qatar Motor Show. As you can see from the pics, Audi showed its red version of the e-tron Spyder concept along with the new A6. Nothing all-new was shown.
Much was the same for its VAG siblings with the exception
Earlier this week Audi and its parent The Volkswagen Group were in the headlines in the Financial Times Deutschland because of an apparent debate between the management of the two companies regarding how to proceed with new EV and hybrid technologies. At the center of the supposed debate was the powertrain technology shown in the A1 e-tron with its rotary
