CAR Magazine has published a report from Georg Kacher about Audi's plans for Q-model expansion, focusing in particular on the ideas of Q6, Q4 and Q1 and pairing the piece with two proposed Q4 renders by Schulte Design that are based on photographs unlike the drawing-based render by Fourtitude's staff seen above.

Audi has made no secret of an aggressive push to grow its model lineup and to do so, Ingolstadt is readying a dizzying mix of new models.
Though we weren't able to attend the unveiling of the Audi Q3 and A3 e-tron Concept at AutoShanghai this very busy news week for Audi, but we were able to compile a photo gallery from the event. Check out the full gallery after the jump.
You may have noticed earlier this week that Audi Design released a few sketches of the upcoming A3. The shots first showed up on AutoCar, then made their rounds to all of the sites that ripped them off of AutoCar and now have had greater distribution to many of the other big magazines including CAR, Car & Driver, Autobild and more.

Photo render artist Theophilus Chin has published another Audi creation in the form of a next-generation S3 3-door. Based on the A3 Concept shown last month in Geneva, Chin's S3 does many things he thinks the S3 will do. Chin deftly stayed consistent with Audi design, changing the doors, grille and other details to production units.

Our sources at Audi say the A3 family offerings of 3-door, Cabriolet and Sportback offerings will carry over to the new generation and of course a sedan will now be added. Audi's uber fast cadence continues through the 2011 Geneva Motor Show this week. Ingolstadt marked the event with the auto show debuts of the RS 3 Sportback and Q5 hybrid along with the first-time showing of the Audi A3 Concept that gives an idea of what a new sedan variant of the upcoming all-new A3 might look like.
The Audi Q3 moves ever close to production with market availability expected (in Europe at least) by the end of the year. Knowing that car is so soon in the shoot, we've not been surprised over the last few weeks to see disguised test mules out and about testing.
