Greg Kable has filed a most interesting report over at AutoCar. The report involves intel on a new engine - namely a new 3.0-liter twin turbo V6. The new engine will feature twin sequential Borg Warner turbochargers and air-to-air intercooler system and internal upgrades that will result in a power output in the neighborhood of 370 bhp and 400 lb ft. The engine will be paired with ...
    2. Latest Audi Q5 Spy Photos Reveal Most Undisguised Look Yet

We've got a new set of Q5 spy photos from our spy photographer sources and these latest shots reveal new details. What you see here is what appears to be a non S-line version with very little disguise. Look closely and you can clearly see the hexagonal grille with no fake framing and what appears to also be the new lighting clusters with solid LED style housings.

    3. Spied (Again): Facelifted Audi Q5 S-line

Spy photographers working in the northern test areas of Sweden have again spied the facelifted Q5. Just as the previously spotted black US-spec car spied a few weeks ago, this white European model shows some basic disguise around the grille corners and older headlight/taillight clusters but this is undeniably a facelift with A6-inspired S-line bumper trim.

      How do we know ...
    4. Audi Q5 Platform-Shared Porsche Crossover Name Changes to Macan

Porsche has announced today a name change for its small Audi Q5-based crossover. Dubbed "Cajun" during development by Porsche themselves, Cajun was the believed nomenclature for the crossover that's been seen testing wearing Audi Q5 bodywork from the Nurburgring to northern Sweden. That name is officially changed though, confirmed as "Macan" by Porsche just this morning.

    5. Spied: Audi Q5-bodied Porsche Cajun Mules Testing in Northern Sweden

Given the two will share platform components, it's not been much of a surprise that Porsche continues to test prototypes of their upcoming Cajun crossover with Audi Q5 bodies. The Audi Q5 is in production and the site of a Q5 on public roads isn't exactly something special. Perhaps these mules go all but unnoticed most of the time... key terminology being "most of the time" since ...
    6. Porsche Plans Audi Q5-derived Cajun. Intel Examined.

It's no secret that Porsche is working on a baby Cayenne known internally as Cajun and set to be based on the same MLB matrix used for the Audi Q5 and said to share a fair amount with the four-ringer crossover. No surprise then that the Cajun test mule shown above and running laps at Nurburgring simply wears Q5 bodywork. Of course, there will be differences when Cajun goes to market ...
    7. Possible Audi Q5 S Test Mule Spotted Testing in the Alps

Check out this test mule spied testing in the Alps. Outwardly, there's not much oddball about the car. Other than a low ride height and what looks like some aluminum foil stuck to the nose, you wouldn't think much of it. Around back though (more pics after the jump), there's a quad exhaust. This is definitely a mule, and no it's not a Cajun as confirmed by those Ingolstadt plates.

    8. More Audi Q5 Bodied Test Mules Today at Nurburgring, This Time from Porsche

One thing is sure about this menacing-looking Q5 spied testing at the Nurburgring this week, it's not from Audi. LB plates (meaning Ludwigsburg) denotes the car originates from Porsche just in case the blacked-out Cayenne wheels didn't tip you off. What you're looking at is the latest test mule for the upcoming Porsche Cajun set to share platforms with the Audi Q5... so no real surprise ...
    9. OSIR Design Releases Carbon Fiber-Rich Line for Audi Q5

OSIR Design, best known for carbon fiber parts and trim manufacturing has released a line for the Audi Q5. And while the Q5 might not be immediately expected to be a platform for carbon fiber upgrades, we're liking the idea. Those looking for a more of an OE+ sort of aesthetic might skip weight saving items like a carbon fiber hood or the aggressive-looking carbon fiber grille, but since there's ...
    10. Spied: Audi A3 3-Door Cold-Weather Testing

Check out this grainy photo published by Autoblog Argentina (autoblog.com.ar). What you see here, along with other shots of a facelifted Q5, A4 Avant and more are pretty much undisguised test mules from Audi, driving in caravan and doing cold weather testing in the middle of the northern hemisphere's summer by testing in a rather untraditional location. We've come to expect spy photos of the latest Audis from locales like South Africa, ...
