Actress Jessica Alba was recently caught by paparazzi in Santa Monica exiting her grey Audi Q7. As a mom of two, the car is probably a very good choice and Jessica's not new to Audi, as we've spotted her before at events like the 2010 Audi Super Bowl party (see photo above).
The shots were posted at JustJared.com and we've linked
We've just stumbled across the trailer of the latest Jason Statham movie (thanks Chris Onefastaudi) and the preview confirms a bit of Audi action in the film. Of course Statham isn't new to the Audi brand, with his Transporter series of films, his narrator's voice on Audi's 'Truth in 24' documentaries and his own S8 and A8 ownership. Still, it's nice to see the brand sticking with the
Spy photographers have caught a next generation Audi Q7 mule cold weather testing in Sweden today. If it doesn't look much different from the current car, don't fret. Audi usually tests cars early in their gestation period wearing bodywork from the current car.
Underneath the Q7 bodywork is where the key changes are. The next-generation Q7 will migrate to Audi's modular longitudinal
There’s an aggressive push for growth at Audi, and while this strategy seems quite obvious when you look at high-demand new models, it can even be measured in smaller corners of the business such as quattro GmbH. We’ve learned that, even here at their high performance and custom tailoring division, Audi is pushing for aggressive gains in both performance cars
Autoguide.com has published a few more photos of that Q7 pickup that popped up a few weeks back and raised some eyebrows in the blogosphere. Autoguide says they initially thought the car was a photoshop, but now believe it's real... though perhaps a re-bodied VW Amarok pickup truck.
So What Do We Think?
We've always thought the Q7 pickup was real, and have never thought it to be
Check out this interior image from Audi.de of the interior of the Q7 V12 TDI. While kit like carbon fiber trim and double stitched leather are optional kit for Audi's biggest and baddest version of the Q7, the new 3-spoke steering wheel as seen in the latest A6, A7 and A8 is a little something for everyone... or at least those driving Q7s my2012 or newer.
No, the Q7 isn't getting a facelift, but it does represent
As the Audi Q3 moves into production and distribution, Automobile Magazine's European contributor and usual suspect in our News & Rumors coverage Georg Kacher has filed an intel report on Ingolstadt's master plan toward crossover expansion. Turns out Q7, Q5 and now Q3 are only the beginning.
Here's a quick run-down.
The next-generation Audi Q7 will be over 880 lbs. (400 kg) lighter than the current Q7.
Learned at Audi Lightweight TechDay. Fourtitude sources have also told us that the Q7 will migrate to the MLB architecture that underpins the A4, A5, A6, A7 and A8. Could this mean
Rumors about which Audi models will be next to get the diesel treatment here in the United States can be put to rest this morning. Audi of America boss Johan de Nysschen has confirmed our next three TDIs in an annual press conference held via the web just a few hours ago. Within the next two years, the company will be offering TDI variants of the A6, the A8, and the Q5.
Audi AG CEO Rupert Stadler raised a few eyebrows at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in January when he confirmed that Audi was still very much considering a North American production point. Just how this manifests itself remains to be seen, but Automobile's Georg Kacher thinks he may have an idea... at least in part.
