Spy photographers have caught a next generation Audi Q7 mule cold weather testing in Sweden today. If it doesn't look much different from the current car, don't fret. Audi usually tests cars early in their gestation period wearing bodywork from the current car.
Underneath the Q7 bodywork is where the key changes are. The next-generation Q7 will migrate to Audi's modular longitudinal
Audi AG recently held an ice track event in Northern Sweden to show off the new RS 5, A1 quattro and an A3 with CNG power. Below is video footage of the RS 5 blasting around the ice course. Turn up the volume and enjoy.

Just in from spy photographers in the coldest areas of Sweden are shots of one very interesting looking black A6-based Avant. With more aggressive front fascia (spotted on some earlier test mules) a wider track and add-on fender flares, there's no doubting that this is a preproduction prototype of the RS 6 Avant. Big ceramic brakes underneath A8 wheels
Given the two will share platform components, it's not been much of a surprise that Porsche continues to test prototypes of their upcoming Cajun crossover with Audi Q5 bodies. The Audi Q5 is in production and the site of a Q5 on public roads isn't exactly something special. Perhaps these mules go all but unnoticed most of the time... key terminology being "most of the time"
As winter sets in to the northern hemisphere, Audi's team of engineers and fleet of future product mules have headed north to the barren areas of remote Sweden. So too have spy photographers and the latest set of shots to come in from our spy photog sources show that the 3-door Audi A3 is still very much in the cycle of cold weather testing.
