Audi R8 GT Spyder Render by Jon Sibal

Photoshop ace and Audi enthusiast Jon Sibal was inspired last week by the R8 Spyder starring in the new Iron Man 2 movie and also by the just-released R8 GT when he put together these renders of an R8 GT Spyder. Of course with the coupe just announced there's no real indicator yet that Audi might consider building such a beast but if Jon's renders are any indicator we hope that they do.
We especially like the rear three-quarter angle, revealing how the lower Spyder would look with the GT's deck mounted spoiler as well as black carbon fiber inserts replacing the silver louvers on the engine cover. Abt Sportsline showed their Spyder with CF louver treatment at Geneva and we've been sold on that idea ever since.
