Check out this grainy photo published by Autoblog Argentina (autoblog.com.ar). What you see here, along with other shots of a facelifted Q5, A4 Avant and more are pretty much undisguised test mules from Audi, driving in caravan and doing cold weather testing in the middle of the northern hemisphere's summer by testing in a rather untraditional location. We've come to expect spy photos of the latest Audis from locales like South Africa, Sweden, Europe and the American southwest, but shots from Argentina might just be a first.
Shot on Argentinian route 40 in between San Rafael and El Soneado, the Audi engineers may have continued on without anyone's knowledge had one of the Argentinean Autoblog staffers not been headed on vacation at the very same spot.
