Ready for Takeoff: Prepping for Fourtitude Le Mans Coverage and Social Media Correspondence for Audi

    Rate this Entry

I've just finished packing my gear and am ready to go. The flight out of Dulles tomorrow will take me to Paris and then it's a quick blast down to Le Mans on the TGV high speed rail. Le Mans week has arrived and we're excited about the prospects. As is the usual here on Fourtitude we'll be covering the exploits of Audi Sport, Team Kolles and their Audi R10 TDIs, the Audi-powered Spyker and the Japanese JLOC Lamborghini.

In addition to that, I've signed on with Audi of America for the second year running to provide social media coverage of the race via Audi's own Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube properties.

It's hard to deny the power of social media and I'm pleased to say that Fourtitude has a presence on each of these entities as well. Even better, we'll likely have passed a milestone 10K fans on Facebook by the time I land at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris early Sunday morning.

If you're as avid a fan of Audi at Le Mans as we are then be sure to tune in. Of course we'll be updating our front page with a special Le Mans section, a team-by-team preview. We'll be regularly updating this blog and we'll also be posting away on both the Fourtitude and Audi accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Flickr and YouTube.
