    Help Wanted: Audi of America Announces Full-Time Internship at Herndon, VA Headquarters

    A friend in Herndon dropped us a note this week to see if we knew of any good candidates for a new position that's just opened up at Audi headquarters in Herndon, VA. Seems AoA has created a position called Product Information Intern, a "full-time internship" set to begin in November. We hear they'd really like an Audi enthusiast in the position and it certainly sounds like a great opportunity for someone who's into Audi and looking to explore a future that corresponds with their passion.

    Job Description:

    Product Information Intern
    Reports to the Product Information Specialist
    Located in Herndon, VA

    This is a full time internship starting in November 2011.

    All candidates must be currently enrolled in a College or University to be considered for this internship.

    Role summary
    •Manage Product Information Book Project

    Role responsibilities
    •Develop and refine format to ensure graphic design adherence to Audi CI
    •Create new methods for managing spec data / design new templates
    •Generate comprehensive content
    •Work closely with Product Information Specialist and Product Managers to collect data; input all vehicle information into new Product Information Books
    •Ensure cross-carline consistency of end product
    •Help manage digital integration with PRIMA

    Skills
    •Analytical and conceptual thinking – use logic and reason
    •Ability to create visual content in logical layout
    •Communication skills – interpersonal, presentation, and written
    •Computer savvy – skilled in the use of software (MS Office, graphic design software)
    •Highly motivated, self-starter, able to initiate independent action with minimal supervision
    •Strong organizational skills and customer oriented
    •Teamwork oriented – ability to work in team environment

    Specialized skills, knowledge or certifications unique to this role

    Currently enrolled in a college or university –
    Art / Design
