Alright this car has been sitting around forever and I'm never getting time to get it running. Its been sitting for over a year now and it needs to be sold/moved. Thanks my job and having another b5.5 motion passat already I kinda lost interest on this car. On problems it has a dent from someone backing up in the rear right corner and the sunroof is leaking. Also it needs a new antenna mount. I'll include the new Antenna and taillight.

Turbonetics T3 Super 60 Turbo
Turbonetics Evo 35mm Wastegate
Treadstone Manifold
Custom 3" Downpipe back exhaust
Nothing Leaves Stock 2.5" Downpipe with Cat on it
Gonzo Tune Stage 3 with Siemens 630cc injectors

Car has around 42k on it.
The car has a Sticker till 11/2013 and I have the title in hand.
The car isn't running and needed to be towed out.
I can't part this car out its at my Parents house and it needs to be gone.
$1500 set in stone.

I hate to see this car go. I wanted to swap a manual in it and have a fun weekend track car but I ended up buying a R32 and want to focus on that instead.

Parting it out. Many pictures below. Everything is available, thought I will need adequate time to get it taken off (should be able to get it done the first weekend after you confirm interest). I would prefer to get as much of the big stuff removed before taking anything off the drivetrain.

Everything is on a make-me-an-offer basis. Throw me a decent price, I'll throw you a decent part. Some of the parts on this car are less-than-decent, and I will take less-than-decent prices for them

I will ship that which can be shipped, and will drive a reasonable distance to meet/deliver parts. My other car is a Forester, so I have the room to haul just about any of the parts.

1997 Jetta GT
2.0L
~160,000 miles (see note below)

The good (...or, at least, interest-worthy.)

H&R Sport springs and KYB struts/shocks. All with about 50,000 miles on them. I had a mildly expensive alignment done on the car to get the rear camber corrected. Currently sits within OEM specs. The ride/cornering provided by this combination was as good as any lowered car I've ever been in, and was not noisy at all.

BSA 17" Wheels - Style BSA-214 - Black with polished lip

Yokohama Avid H4S - Approximately 8/32" left on front and 7/32" on back

A set of 14" Imola wheels with generic (good-as-trash) tires will also be included

Zimmerman drilled rotors on front

Thule rack (Crossbars and posts only)

Pioneer CD/MP3 Head (DEH-P6700MP) & aftermarket speakers (MTX ThunderPro mid-basses in rear deck; Memphis Audio 2-ways in front)

Interior is in very good condition.

All gauges/controls work, with the exception of the trunk release (which needs replaced at the trunk; solenoid is not engaging)

The seats are in very good condition, with the only real downfall being slight fraying on side bolster of drivers seat

GT trinkets are in mostly good working order (White gauge cluster and smoked taillights are undamaged; however, one fog light has back housing broken)

The Bad (...or no better than expected for a car from this year)

Mileage is currently right around 160,000. (The battery is currently out of it, so an exact number is not currently attainable. I'm pretty sure it's actually a little below this number, but I'm playing it safe.)

The Transmission is currently sitting loose inside the engine bay, completely disconnected from the engine (which is hanging from a hoist bar). Clutch was not fully disengaging, so I'm fairly sure the throwout bearing was to blame. I was planning on doing a full clutch swap while I had it apart, but never got around to it. I've done clutch swaps/rebuilds before, but this just got to be too fidgety/labor-intensive.

The Hood, battery, starter, half-axles, clutch linkage, and two motor mounts are all disconnected/removed. This really was a work in progress.

I hit a deer with the car, which resulted in a slightly dented hood (could EASILY be straightened), a destroyed grille, a bent top radiator mount, and a busted reflector cover (beside the fog light). The top radiator mounts was straightened, but not replaced, and the hood latches fine. None of the other parts have been replaced. The bumper and both fenders are still straight and true.

There is rust along the bottom of three of the doors and the trunk.

The black textured sideskirt on the driver's side, which was part of the GT trim, is trashed. The passenger side, front, and rear portions are still useable.
