I have this problem where in 3rd gear only when I upshift or downshift there is a gear noise as if the speed of the gears dont match up and it suddenly it speeds up the other gear. It shifts and engages ok, if i match the speed of the revs from one gear to the other there is less or no noise which makes me think the gear speed is not beinch matched ie by the syncrhos. Only happens in 3rd gear, I have taken the box appart, bronze sunchros in 3rd look no different to the rest. I am schratching my head on this

It is an 02m 6 speed quattro.
