Hey,

i am Felix from Germany and i have a big Problem with my Mk4...

I got the 1.8t (AUQ) engine new in my MK4, and now i have a Fault in the ECU.

17877 - EVAP Canister Solenoid Valve 2 (N115): Open Circuit
35-00 - -

In Germany we normal don't have that N115 only the N80.

Is there a possibility to give me a Number that i can order this Valve from my Dealer, or is there a possibility to put a resistor instead of the Valve next to the ECU?

Perhaps also someone knows, which contacts in the ECU (T121) are the right ones.. I didn't found it in every wiring diagram..

I hope someone can halp me..

Just came across this while doing some cleaning and going through inventory and forgot we had it. i almost don't want to sell it as its the last one I know of for sale new. It kind of has a niche in the "old school" 1.8T market place(sounds odd saying that but the transverse 1.8T is over 13yrs old now)

It is just the manifold, no throttle body. They are made to use a modified R32 throttle I believe. They were like $1000 back in the day. Not sure if there is much interest in the 1.8T market for this as I know it is a bit overkill and out of budget for most but figure it would be nice for someone to make use of it. I will entertain reasonable offers!!

Not only are we selling the parts, but the knowledge too. We are not like some of these other companies out there today just trying to make a quick buck. At US Rally Team we believe and only sell what we know inside and out. Have questions then look no further. Knowing about your product and what your selling is key. Everyone can read off of a website, but we are motivated to teach you as a customer what you should know about the product you are buying. Give us a call or post. I will do better then give you stock status and price including shipping.

Genesis-brand heavy duty wiring harness. Fitment is nearly universal (but drop-in) with fully relayed/fuse-protected circuits. Enjoy direct battery voltage for maximum pump output and pump longevity. Both under chassis and under hood version harnesses install in less than 45 minutes. No special wiring skills required.

The harnesses are mounted under the hood on most cars as there is not a ideal location for it. This being the case on the 1.8T
With this harness you don't need to be an electrical genius or piece together a harness solution that might or might not work. Your average shop is going to take about one hour to one and a half hours to fabricate a solution. You do the math. Why not save your time and money and hop on board and buy one of our headache less harnesses. Kit includes the ends to be used with both the Walbro 225 Inline Pump and the Bosch 044.

I've gone back to running 93oct for the everyday since E85 is only available in a couple locations in my area (none are convenient). I do still run a mix once in a while to make a ~ 100oct blend, but that's beside the point.

Questions:

1. As for the MAF curve map I'm not sure what I need to do as I'm maxing out the flow. How do I adjust this to give the ability to have some wiggle room?

(TT225MAF / AWP Sensor)

2. For my boost curve I had a great setup for E85 (guessing more gasses made more spool) but now that I'm back on pump it feels sluggish. That's not really the issue, I can fix that. I did notice though that something I've done between the VE (boost curve map?) and PID had caused it to pretty much request all or nothing. What should be the maximum numbers in this field for ~22psi? (I know it changes, but I also know going too high causes it to boost forever)

3. I adjusted my fuel trims down for pump and I'm getting zero correction. This seems "not right" to me. Shouldn't there always be a little correction?

Thanks!:peace:

The new ko3s went in like a dream!
I'm no mechanic but it was simple with all the info here. If I knew then what I know now I would have purchased all the coolant plastic near the oil feed line before I started the job!
I know that this post is pointless but I was very intimidated at first and I'm sure others are/will be!

Ok. Just put a new short block with IE Rods and refreshed Head. So my car was running fine! Engine felt Strong!! Everything was running fine for a few days! Absolutely no codes. Then out of nowhere the car started to struggle to turn on. I checked codes and got the code: P0341 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Range/Performance.

Here is what I did:

-I replaced the CPS. Still got code.
-I replaced the signal wheel. Still got code.
-I replaced the cam chain tensioner sensor. Still got code.
-I replaced the crank pulley. Still got code.
-I swapped the ECU with my friend's ECU. Still got code.
-I checked timing literally 20 times, everything is on point. 16 links between each Cam. Even had other people check it just to make sure I'm not a retard.
-I checked the voltage on the cables to CPS while the car was running, I was getting a steady 5v on the reference cable and noticed on the signal cable, I was getting 4-5v and would randomly spike to 11-12v. When I checked my friend's signal cable he was getting a steady 11-12v. so I bypassed the signal cable on the CPS with a brand new cable. Same 4-5v with random 12v spike and Still got code.

Still get the same Code no matter what I have done, and a big loss in power due to the VVT not engaging.

Has anyone run into this issue before. I did a search, but I couldn't find anything related to my exact situation.

Could it be the pin connector on the ECU harness? I am running out of ideas.

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!

So in the past 6-8 months or so, I've blown both the coolant temp housing and the Y flange between it and the radiator about 3 times a piece. One Y flange popped due to being defective, the rest just blew apart or cracked. The last 3 or 4 times something broke it was after I had already gotten home and just barely shut off the car but that could also be coincidence. And for what it's worth, as of late I keep getting codes for the temp sensor.

Any ideas what keeps causing these pieces to go out? I can understand the first time since they were the original pieces but every couple of months or so is ridiculous

So I just got an 03 jetta wagon 1.8 auto. The car has 127,000 miles on it. Test drove it twice then I ended up buying it. About half an hour later the check engine light came on. So I go get it checked and I get a P0733. So I go online and basically what I'm seeing is that the solenoids are bad or I need to do a fluid change. The car has delayed shifts but when it does shift its smooth not harsh. I have seen the only solution people can come up with is basically a new trans. I don't have the option to do that right now because I need to get it inspected. Is there anything I can look for to try and remedy this asap just to get me through inspection??
