I just read a post you wrote on may about you ac clutch compressor. You sais you were reading 7.6V ? Did you managed to find why? I also read 7ish V ...

I have replaced my FCM and I now read 7V and the clutch doesn't engage...

Ed: Screw it, I put a big piece of shrink tubing over it and ran the hair dryer on it, looks good as new. The reason I wanted a new one was because I had a AUX input adapter for my MP3 player and ran the 3.5mm jack through that cover. Its a converter that plugs into the AUX port behind the factory Monsoon stereo and when you push the CD button twice, it goes to an aux mode and lets you play whatever you want connected to the 3.5mm audio jack.

Hey Ed: You know a good place online to get any interior trim parts? I need that piece of plastic that is a cover that snaps in right above the head unit in the center console. It's where the cup holders go in the Jettas. The freaking dealer wants $20 for it and I'm wondering if I can get it somewhere else cheaper.
