yup, i like it alot better than the stock one that was in there which was also a close ratio but the ratios are different. its actually really fun and at the same time great for the long trips. the 5th is a little longer cause the rpms really arent high when doing 70mph at all compared to the stock one. I pulled it out of an 84 GTI, no i didnt rebuild it it was rebuilt by a local mechanic here in town.
