Reviews are not great on handling typically oversprung under dampened. And that can be addressed with aftermarket struts.

Agreed. That is probably the tipping point in getting cited.
Make sure tires are warm before checking tires for out of round, some brands can flat spot when cold.

I had the same issue with my MKV jetta wolfsburg. Never found the culprit.
