Practice safe fueling
I guess I got lucky, no issues what so ever with the TR paint on my '16 GTI.
Id say it's definitely possible. Although it seems far more people have this alarm issue than the puck issue.
Finally got around to checking....'16 GTI Autobahn, not active from factory. :screwy:
Activated per this threads instructions.
While in principal I agree with the opinions above that "the GTI belongs on summer tires". I disagree that grand touring are only good for "80 year olds". As stated, summer tires are not good in and...

Do not use the orange Rain X in a MKVII.
No disagreement on that point. Definitely 'trust but verify'. Moronic was too strong a word, but we've all see countless instances on this forum where these 'professional' techs missed, skipped,...
I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic or not.... if so,.
Otherwise; this is a thought process that simply baffles me. You make a purchase that is second only to a home in terms of $$$ and...
Surfstar has a point, even if worded harshly.
Per the owners manual, you should have been checking the oil level 'regularly'.
Below is copy/paste from the manual:
Volkswagen recommends that you...
Hmm....I'd sorta consider doing away with the PP as a "major change".
But that's just me.
