I've changed the pop top seal and noticed a bit of play in the latch, which way should the bolt with the spring be adjusted? Lengthen or shorten to take up the slack?
Nice! Any interior pics? Original paint?
Anyone know the VW part number for the poptop rubber seal that goes all the way around the top?
I have this under my seat:
No problems at all.
Get the original VW fan. Bought mine form Keffer VW, absolutely no problems after replacing with original VW fans.
Turned out to be a bad belt tensioner. Odd how the sound was resonating from the top of the engine and not the tensioner it self.
I've noticed a grinding noise coming from the passenger side of the engine at idle, sounds like a bad bearing kind of a dry metal on metal grinding noise. I was hoping it was the belt tensioner...
Lol. Not gonna happen.
How did you seal up the holes for the Yakima roof rails that you installed? How many holes and what size bolts did you end up using? I bought a roof top box for my...
I had the same problem. Dealer can't find squat since it did not throw any codes and they can't replicate the problem. So I decided to change the lock/unlock mode to all doors when activated...

The EV is great for everyday...
Sprinter will be the replacement for me. Check out the size difference compared to my buddy's 144 lowtop with a Sportsmobile poptop.
Love the awning! Feels like it adds some square footage to the EV.
I put up with all the maintenance and repairs so I can have days like this:
Had mine done last November, they had to tear out the whole dash.
Right sized punch will do.
I'm having the same problem. The lights come on after driving for a few miles, goes away after I shut down and restart. My shifting is not effected, I've changed out the brake switch and ignition...
I swapped my lock cylinder out to the new door handle. You will need to punch out a pin that holds the cylinder in place. Not hard, just need the proper tools.
