      If you checked for vacum leaks and found none it may be the micro switch on the throttle body. They go bad.. Mine had a bad switch on it when I bought it the guy put a toggle on and off.

      Actually depends on the year of the car... Later cars had rubber caps on the screws (digifant cars) and you typically don't fart with the screw.. The high hanging idle is a sign you have a bad dip...
