Correct. And that is only if you run a long shock. Also, I am running BDS shocks for a truck so the body is a little larger which adds to the problem.
Im not sure what you mean by spring and strut. What I was mentioning was for the rear shock only. But it will also be part of the 1in lift kit I am making. So all factory stuff will work, springs,...
I will have a solution for your rear shocks in a couple weeks. I am making rear shock mounts that will lower the top mount point by 1.5in.
Dont get a GIAC tune for the 2.5
UM is the best option at this point.
What tires are you running again? They make a huge difference in ride quality.
Looks good.
That amount of lift will allow for some bigger tires to which will also lift the car...
They are not using diesel engines in the WRC cars.
I havent found any factory solutions like that. I did find several places that you can send you factory spring to and they will make you new springs according to your spec. Spring rate-wise and...
I was finally able to make the sample cut of the manifold with the clearance changes... along with cutting the rest of the manifold to see how the rest fits. Still some changes to be made.
Its a little stiffer, but still feels similar to the factory suspensions. I think the higher profile tires help with that as well.
Ah that makes sense. I forgot you were using tig lift springs rather than just tig springs.
I havent ever experienced the problem logoris is having. My rear shock would bottom out with the stock shock. But the fronts have never given me a problem. The rear tig shocks I just put on my wifes...
My setup shown on the first page was just 1in spacers front and back. This black rabbit is with tig springs only. Same wheels and tires between them (factory wheels).
The Cragar wheels I have now...
You will likely rub with either of those tire sizes. The smaller will most likely rub in the front and rear while turning, or while going over a bump and turning. You are only giving yourself .7in of...
Thats a much more difficult question to answer as it has a lot to do with your specific setup, springs, wheel and tire weight, ect. I am running BDS 5500 shocks which are really stiff and have a...
Im not sure what you mean? The best thing you can do is find a company that will give out the extended and compressed heights of there shocks. Then buy one accordingly. Remember that you will be...
Ahh. Im not sure about the touring struts and their length.
You shouldnt need longer than that.
What springs and struts do you have again?
You just need longer shocks. My rears did that when I was still running the factory shocks with the lift.
With the 29in tires, its about 15% off. I normally drive around using the speedo on a gps.
