FYI they changed the 40k service on the tiptronics to include tranny fluid change. I got a notice in the mail. I've got the 1.8t but the trannys are the same.

Check techtonics tuning or vibrant. Vibrant makes good exhaust stuff for cheap. Then just get it welded in. Also you can do 3" in and out and then reduce down. Might be easier to find

I've had the same problem in my Jetta. As long as the tethers on the bottom are tight, you'll be good. The bottom ones only are still better than just the seatbelt through the car seat

      Newbie 2012 SE 2.5

No mines the opposite. They have a feature that when you stop, the torque converter decouples (neutral) so when I hit the gas, it acts like a dsg tranny and sometimes takes a second to engage. The...

      Newbie 2012 SE 2.5

My 2014 downshifts rough a lot of times. I've only got 5k on it so far. It's time for a trip to the dealer to either sort it or swap it for a manual. First auto I've ever owned and it sucks.

      Need help with rattling sound!

If the noise goes away when you engage the clutch, then it might be something with the clutch itself or throwout bearing. Have the dealer look at it.

Just an FYI, vw is saying you need to change fluid on tiptronics every 50k so no real difference between dsg/tip.
