I like him.
There is?
Presumably this is FWD only?
Get rid of the graphics and the massive badges and that would actually look very good. I agree that it looks more cohesive; it no longer has a mishmash of black details plus chrome. I like it.
Did you see EJ's shoes?
Yeah. It says it's for the occasional off-roader. It's not as if Ram is targeting hardcore off-roaders with this. It's a decent package that won't cost a lot of money.
The real question is, will...
If you meant "no frills" and not "abuse" why did you mention cigarette burns and a beat up bed?
What does "king" mean? Because I doubt it's the top seller in any state, for any manufacturer.
Is the Volvo V90 debuting there?
Just a thought: With the next Discovery/LR4 being less square and more along the lines of a larger Discovery Sport, I wonder if the next Defender will sort of take the current Discovery/LR4's place...
Truly the end of an era. It's too bad we only got a handful of these in North America.
Car just added a Defender 110 to its long-term fleet but it's not on the web site yet.
How is it not true? It has more leg room than every truck other than the Ford.
Numbers may not tell the whole story either. It's possible the Mega Cab feels roomier than the leg room...
Here's the legroom.
Ram Crew Cab: 40.3"
Ram Mega Cab: 43.3"
Silverado/Sierra Crew Cab: 40.9"
Ford F-150 SuperCrew: 43.6"
Titan XD: 38.5"
Tundra CrewMax: 42.3"
So the Ford is actually the...
I'm not disputing any of that but the poster I quoted said that GM "sort of" offers the same thing, which isn't really true when its crew cab is roughly the same size as the Ram Crew Cab.
Probably because they won't want to compete with the M3.
Then again, they are selling the Alpina 6-series here so who knows.
Okay, but the same can be said for the Ram. Extended cab vs. Quad Cab, crew vs. crew... Rear seat legroom is practically identical in the Ram and Chevy. The Mega Cab is in a class above the crew...
I dunno. Would a B7 be any worse than a normal 7-series reliability wise?
Yeah, a buddy has a brand new F-150 and the back seat is truly cavernous.
I guess the other advantage of the MegaCab is there's more storage behind the rear seat.
The difference is that Ram offers three cab sizes with two rows of seats while Ford and GM offer two. Ram 1500 can be had in QuadCab and CrewCab, while the 2500/3500 models can be had in CrewCab and...
There's one of these around here. I had seen it a few times before it registered with me that the combination didn't exist from the factory.
