      2001 JettaIV Wolfsburg AWW 1.8t stock w/ 3" dp.

      P1287 code repeatedly thrown.

      DV tests good with finger on nipple test.

      Vacuum lines all check out a.o.k.

      N249 draws strong at idle at DV....

      I have been doing some work on this car while pretty much daily driving it...

      Front control arms, subframe and all the mounts , struts, bushings bearings, nuts and bolts have been replaced.

      Belated follow up.

      I replaced the plug at the distributer as the signal from the hall sender was intermittent. Brand new Bosch plugs were had for cheap. Really. :)

      Fuse panel was bad and the signal was screwy/weak...
