      2012 CC fueling issues - P0087 and P2177

I purchased this 2012 CC with the 2.0T engine in December, 16k miles on the clock and the bumper-to-bumper warranty was a month expired at purchase. The car has been serviced on time or early, always...

Maybe I missed it in the OP, but a set of torx sockets and torx screwdrivers is indispensable. There are a few places I've run into where I needed large allen sockets, but honestly it's not worth...

I haven't tried it, but I'm very interested in seeing your results. There are a ton of videos on YouTube of people doing this, watch some and get an idea of what works before taking to your own car....

If you get the part number off of your original seat cover or any other colored part of the interior, the last three digits typically indicate the color. Part number will look like "xxx xxx xxx yyy"...

When you say the car won't start for at least 30 minutes after stalling, does it crank but not turn over? Or does it not even try to crank?

I haven't driven a Mk7 GTI, so this is speculative, but I'd personally lean towards having the GTI on a brand new chassis than the A3 on a platform that's been around for a decade. Again, I haven't...

I'd be wary... Guy puts a big turbo on it then gives up when this problem arises? I'd bet he threw a bunch of time/money at it and couldn't solve it. Plus who knows the quality of the kit and...

I'm pretty sure that the physical shape of the RS4 unit is different than the A3 unit. Besides that, the B7s use a different CAN than the A3, so I doubt it would communicate correctly with your car.

I'm at a loss unfortunately. Only thing I can offer is you should be seeing compression between 150-200 psi on a healthy motor. I'm interested to hear what compression you're getting with timing one...

      +1

I would let it sit overnight before doing the measure-fill method. It takes a surprising amount of time to cool down. A solid three hours after shutting the car off, draining the hot fluid, and...

I'm pretty sure there is no real change in the DSG transmission between pre and post facelift.

No need to do it before. Running it up to temp after filling but before putting the drain plug back in allows the fluid to heat up and expand, bleeding off the excess. I've got the procedure from the...

At less than a dollar a piece I always replace the crush washers. Cheap peace of mind. No need to replace the plugs though unless you want to upgrade to magnetic. FWIW, my magnetic oil drain plug...
