Any pictures, Hawk HPS pads and HP+ have no issues with fitment on our cars. Something with the install sounds weird.
Switching from a floating caliper to a monoblock style Brembo will help in stopping faster, but only to the limit of grip available by the tires and ABS.
Perhaps you should take the big brake calipers off your 951 then since there is no reason for them.
Some improved safety items then better handling components followed lastly by power increase. Makes perfect sense to me.

BSR tunes are good, but there are better out there now. The power is nice upgrade but not too crazy or anything that wild. Had mine tuned for 110k miles with no issues.
Lets see, stock non-HID's suck for lighting output, so that is a good safety upgrade. The suspension on these things do need help to improve tire life and better feed back from being not very rigid....
Well worth the money investing in one of the clones. Some of them are more problematic than others. Think I paid $400 shipped with everything.
-4?! Talk about causing issues with tire contact patch. Max rear camber should be about -1.8 to -2.1 for road race use.

For heavy road race use, stock mounts tend to work perfectly well and are cheap to replace. For auto-x the SPC ones work well, but I personally have not found them to be any more helpful for faster...
The 9-3ss are quite friendly to DIY. Good for him writing his own Saab story ;)
