You need to have a blog or an auto sales website so we can see your current inventory.
well tyler, you're too slow, the white mk3 has sold.
If you want to make friends, post a cheap car on craigslist. You'll be quickly popular!
Anybody need a winter beater? I've got a rusty but trusty mk3 golf for sale.
Clarkson? I assume you need a white mk3 in your life again.
For now, I'm saying you mask it, $120 + the cost of the plasti dip. I'm working on getting wholesale prices on the dip, too, but that may be a bit yet.
I've got two sets left. Let me know if anyone is interested.
Price drop bump
I've used plain jane general purpose automotive grease for years on various 80s vws, and never had the plastic bushings have trouble.
Maybe I've been slowing dissolving them all this time.
That is...an impressive accordian boot.
Did you remove your lower console? WHERE DO YOU KEEP YOUR SUNGLASSES AND/OR MUSIC PLAYING DEVICE?
How old are your control arms? My B6 A4 ate tires very quickly before i replaced the whole convoluted front control arm setup. The B5 has the same(ish) setup. Check those before you get any new tires...
I can't keep up with all the cars you have at times.
I can't help it, I love the ridiculous accordian-style shift boots in the early mk2 jetta. I see the mk1 rabbit had two different accordian style shift boots, do either of those fit the scirocco?
Well I don't know what the bentley is saying. A regular inner tie rod removal tool and I got driver's side off last night, passenger looks to be the same.
Hmm, so maybe the replacements I bought won't fit anyway. They've got a male end.
I'll have to look after work tonight.
So it sounds like the rack doesn't need to come out, though?
My inner tie rods are...floppy at best. But perusing the Bentley the instructions involve removing the whole "steering gearbox" i believe is how it's referred to. Can anyone confirm, I can't just use...
