The 1.8t is impressive so far, I wish they'd put a 6MT with it (hell a Versa has a 6MT), but its pretty dang efficient.

My old BMW ti would shutoff intermittently similar to what you described and it turned out to be the CPS. Although mine threw a code.

Interesting. Had no idea an early model year was a better build for some makes. It usually seems to be the opposite with German cars.
