That is a KX500 :P
I got all excited by the thread title hoping for this:
This was cool too, though still slightly disappoint.
Neighbor who lived in the house behind us when I was growing up was a WWII vet. Commander of an anti-aircraft halftrack or something like that. He was there the first day allied forces rolled into...
Don't know if you plan on going south or north through the area, but in southern MO and northern AK there are some epic roads off the beaten path. Through northern IL and IA there are some good ones...
If it works as good as Nissan's system, it's pretty damn seamless.
I generally like the fender treatment on the front. The rear looks just as tacked on as most other kits. Terrible.
I used VHT on the header (actually, whole pipe) on my old DRZ. Yeah, only a single, but it was a pretty cranked up engine over stock. Big bore, hi-comp piston, hotter cams, etc. It never flaked...
Looks pretty good on my end. I don't have any friends who are unemployed, perhaps one or two working slightly under their skill set, but not bad.
Personally, I've been promoted three times since...
But the real money is on the machines that make those look small. ;)
Heard this on XM the way home from work the other day.
Yeah, the only times the ICE will run while you have range left in the battery are:
1. Ambient temperature is below 25 deg F (or 15 or 35 F for the '13 and up cars)
2. Hold mode
Know how I know you didn't watch the whole video?
I like it better than the Challenger. I'd drive it.
Off peak, yes. Were we on a fixed plan it would be about 7 cents per kWh with the fees. [emoji481]
Yeah, I didn't figure it would be a practical design. Looks cool. I guess thats the point.
This is basically the situation I am in with mine.
I read somewhere on the volt forums that 80-90 miles was the break even area for a round trip commute, using a first gen car. You'd have to do...
So..this might be a concept car newbie question, but you always see these crazy tire tread designs on concepts. Are these custom cut tires or can you actually buy these things somewhere?
Everyone here has already yelled at you at how you are out of your element, but I figured I'd chime in here with my experiences.
A KWh costs me $.046 at off peak hours, so I have the car set to...
I'm wondering the same thing. My '12 has the slightly smaller battery than the '13-'15 cars and I routinely see 40+ miles out of my 32 mile rated battery. I'm sure it depends on speed and driving...
Yep. I bought it. I quite enjoy it. Though, at this point I am very hesitant to recommend that anyone pony up the cash for it - unless the following sounds interesting to you.
