This is what I did when I swapped out a 3A for my JH.
Just make one
Harbor Freight will have the 30mm socket :)
Also tapping the 12 point bit into the bolt helps seat it in the splines for a good grip. If you do strip one out just get a decent set of vice grips...
Just get this http://www.germanautoparts.com/productdisplay/2464
The CV bolts take an 8mm 12 point triple square bit.
Key to these is to remove all the gunk that has collected inside the bolt...
FYI - It was recommended to me to by other MS users to run your MS ground directly to the block.
I never experienced any issues when I had it grounded to the chassis but did reroute it to...
From the picture it looks like the front bumper is just a US bumper pushed in, not a euro one.
The lights and grill are though and would be a great pick. Wish I was a little closer :(
Never seen a fix for a broken seat latch/guide like that before. Gonna suggest you remove that screwed on metal piece, get the guide aligned if need be to have the seat in the correct position and...
Nice score on those tail lights
I have MS also and have been wanting to simplify my fuel system. I love what you have done and am looking to do the same to my S1.

Did not take very many (crappy phone ones at that) and there were only a few Sciroccos there but here is what I got:
My car with new to me clear turns (thanks again Nigel:beer:)
Anyone going through Portland on I-5 south to Woodburn this Sunday that wants to meet up for the drive down? I will be hitting I-5 at the 217 intersection.
Would be interested in the short shift linkage rod, dual horns and the 2 ECUs if they are 16V ones (which I think the red labels are).
Motor mounts are the same for both engines.
Hardest part of this swap is to upgrade you fuel injection system. Your 8V used CIS-L and the 16V used CIS-E(electronic). Best way is to swap out all...
Maybe the cable attachment point on the firewall side (which is just a tube welded onto the pedal cluster that sticks through the firewall) has broke loose. This is a pretty common issue with the A1...
I am pretty sure I just put 100mm inner joints on my early 90mm drive shafts. That way I did not have to mess with the outer driveline fitment at all.
I am thinking there might have been an issue...
