does it crank? If so, next time it dies see if the tach moves. It should move a bit when cranking. if it doesnt its the crank positioning sensor. Often fails when hot, and is good again when it cools
They want me to put a few thousand km before they decide what they are going todo.
Not really going to change anything but ill play alone until then.
Probably something todo with incorrect/insufficient resistor
Way to add insult to injury buddy... Haha
But seriously, third times a charm? If they didn't get it right twice, I highly doubt anything will change
Yes was warm, removed all plugs pulled fuel pump fuse and cranked 8-10 times
150-203 I believe. However it had 185 prior.
It is across the board as it was last time
Low compression again... 145 psi
Plan on checking for shaft play, and oil in the intercooler after work. but I should have good compression regardless of the condition. Either way turbo has less than 15,000 km's at wastegate...
Thought about that, but it is smoking the exact times as it was before. On idle you can notice it if you cup the exhaust tip, and a nice cloud when pulling away from a stop sign.

Got the car back again today....
After 150km still f#**£ing smoking!!!
Going to put on another 150 and check the compression again.
I don't know how this is possible...
Correct brake in,...
Thanks for the input, I don't think I will run it past that as I hear JB turbos don't like to be pushed past 25psi

Just wanted to share an update:
Shop finally gets back to me after giving me the run around for a little bit.
The oil blowing all over the bay came from a faulty cam tensioner that they replaced....
As mentioned before, please read the FAQ.
I believe there is a thread on stock componet power limitations.

Have been driving it hard in a last ditch effort to seat the rings before it goes in Monday.
Oil light comes on, bay is covered in oil. I am assuming out of my VC breather. Is this related to...
Have been runing sae30 the whole time.
Just got back from the shop, couldn't get in until Monday. They claimed they didn't hone but just deglazed the cylinders.
They said they will have to take a...
