I had the ultimate racing turboback on my mk6 gti and I absolutely loved it.
I know mine didn't. I just heard a loud hissing whenever the car would try to build boost.
When I lowered mine I had to recalibrate with vagcom and I was good to go. :thumbup:
I think things are a bigger deal when they're not on a regular basis. I've been saying that to everyone who starts up a gtg. Maybe we'll have to put something together.
I see a blue MK7 R most mornings on my way to work. It has out of state plates, but pulls out of the same apartments every morning. I'm in a MK6 R if you happen to be on here.

Wow... I can't believe its been 10 years. I suppose I could, but there isn't a lack of GTGs now like there once was. I don't know you'll get a GTG with nearly 100 cars anymore.
At least that way you wouldn't have to screw with your phone to switch channels.
I don't think mine does either. It does seem like my R sounds better than my gti did, but I'm guessing it might be how the equalizer was set or something. Not really sure. I assumed if it has the...
I agree. I was excited to see this being made, but this price is a bit hard to swallow. :(
After seeing up close photos of that headunit I have to say that it looks really nice. I'm quite impressed.
You can disable it with VCDS. You can also adjust the length that it holds and I think the strength. Its been a while since I've looked at it.
I turned my washers off in vagcom.
