The knob allows more fine tuning of turn in angle in-line with the direction the trailer is pointed. What's so confusing about it?

And I also don't get the hate... it makes something easier to do...

How about another Impala? W-body will never go away as GM is still making them.

Or perhaps a Buick LaCrosse. A slightly used one is a good buy - I think that's the hybrid one you are talking about.

      Exactly

They fixed the E46 before, and I have faith they will fix the F30.

F10 is too far down the road to fix but the next gen 5 series (G#?) will probably be better too.

And the reason it got stale was because not enough people bought it so Honda didn't see fit to invest a lot of money to keep it fresh. I'm not saying there is no market for car-trucks at all, nor am...

It's not the about "heaviness" of the steering. It's the feedback. I don't think you can "reprogram" that. It's ingrained in the steering rack design. You can make the steering wheel on the F30...

Mercedes AMG are not "hardcore" though... they just have more power. Porsche already has that market covered with Panamera Turbo and Turbo S - it has 570hp which is already more power than anyone can...

I think the Explorer torque steer has more to do with the fact it has transverse engine. You can have torque steer in AWD. It's not just FWD that is prone to torque steer... it's FWD+transverse...

It does handle very well, as all BMWs do. The problem with the new one is steering feedback.

For those used to the hydraulic steering on older BMWs, the new ones feels numb. Almost Audi like.
