Holy run on sentence. The quantity of cars definitely outweighed the quality of cars there; it was far from amazing, but definitely made for some good people watching.

Get a heat gun, warm up the rubber part so it expands and then they should pop on a lot easier.

I've heard yes and no on R vs GTI front track. From my personal experience it was the same and the added camber from the R arms helped me tuck my wheels in a lot more. I have test fit pics from when...
That red 4 door wasn't even a real R, just a normal 1.8t golf running on Airlift XL struts as the Performance Series ones weren't out at the time, so he couldn't have adjustable camber top plates....
