Because I've been hotrodding these cars for almost 9 years now and not only tried the spacers myself many years ago, but know other people that have.
Get an ECU tune and problem solved.
I wouldn't expect a faulty valve body to put metal into the trans fluid, although I guess that diagnosis depends on how competent the tech was?
Driving until it dies isn't out of the question if it is cheap enough, and has good tires and brakes.
Honestly though, if you want to have a good experience with these cars for a longer time...
Spacers won't work
At that miles, and that spec, it is a 10k car at best, even with a good trans. Don't do it.
I wouldn't touch it even if it were given to me for free.
How many miles on the car.
What color paint, what color leather, what color wood?
5 seater or 4?
If it is of a common spec, it would have to be really cheap, lower miles and in otherwise...
How hard do you drive the car? And in what manner?
$50 credit towards a [i[future[/i] purchase? What a joke. Yea.... we won't compensate the hassle on your current clusterf•ck purchase.. but if you trust is again in the future we will knock down...
This popped up FS somewhat near me, asking $1500 w/ 17k on it.
I don't need another bike.. but...
Wow would denote surprise- which none of us have.
Hahaha. So true.
They all go to the same spot. Inside the black box under the car on the passenger side of the cats.
I never understood that. Dennis and I did his with no issues on his V8 and I just had my bumper off/on on my W12 by myself. Maybe we just got lucky.
I blew a tire on the rear of a rwd van once, but continued to drive on it for probably 2-3 miles home, 30-40mph tops IRRC. It was making horrible noises and people kept honking at me.
More details are needed.
Which part specifically is giving you issues?
V8 or W12?
They fit fine. No issues.
