found it yesterday morning, it was the main power relay. car wouldn't start in the morning so i dropped the fuse box, turned it over and let it crank, wiggled the relay and it fired right up. let it...
well, took the car down this morning and had it scanned-nothing came up that was pertaining to the problem. they found a loose power wire
from the ECU to the fuse box. fixed that. drove home fine...

its not a hack job at all...its done right. ive spent lots of time and money to get the car where its at today.. i just want it to love me back a little :laugh:
fine tuning in seattle did the original swap, i put a lower milage motor in it about 4 years ago. the one i bought it with had low compression on one of the cylinders and it burned a **** ton of oil.

92 gti with 95 obd1 raddo vr swap. randomly shuts off while driving. in the past 10k miles ive replaced the ignition switch, fuel pump, in-tank pump. fuel pump relay is fine.
