Thanks, for sure on the gap. I just need to roll my fenders before I can go down another inch in the front. Maybe a tiny bit more stretch for clearance.

I thought I'd do a little update to this. I ended up buying the caddy from my mom's boyfriend for how much he had into it. I've been enjoying driving it and improving it as I go. Here's some pics!
I like it! It makes a difference for sure and it matches the brushed aluminum trim perfectly.
Installed my BFI heavy weight shift knob.
I can't really remember how far the axle comes forward into the hub. The bolt should pull it far enough so it seats off on the back side. I just did this like two weeks ago. I just tapped on the back...
