thanks guys. I'll take better non-iphone pictures soon I guess.
Powdercoated engine bay goodies make everyone happy.
You sure it was me? I was in Alaska for two weeks, I think it might have been my brother driving it.
Yeah, I've been driving the jetta more lately.. Almost up to 70k.. :(
Damnn, this stuff is still going on? Haha :)
Who said I'm gonna have two? :) haha
More of a feeler to see if there is any interest in a trade..but I've had this PSM(Silver) 05' STI for a year and a half, purchased it from a friend of mine with 90k, now has just over 100k miles.
and you think it's fun roasting tires in 3rd gear and the torque-steer involved in that? (especially without a diff?) and..what fun is a 50+ roll race? anyone can pedal a car for two gears..
Can make 500whp easily on stock bottom end with just a headspacer. Just gotta up the boost.
Will it be super reliable? probably not. I made 470whp on 18-19psi (6262, headspacer motor). And I'm...
Nope, no spacers, although I could probably run like a 5-8mm on the rear so it sits completely flush
bump because I'm still driving this damn thing around every so often..still reliable even though I have another car as a backup. haha
maybe I'll record an idle video of the exhaust one day..never...
-10AN return for sure. no such thing as too big of a return, since the feed (whether it's a restrictor in the line, or the restrictor is already built into the turbo) is what restricts the oil going...
told you it'd just roast the tires.. especially at 9psi on k04's.. that's just silly. lol
Spotted/talked to a guy with a silver mk4 on twists at the Gulf gas station right after Nichols Rd. last night.
And damn, I haven't been on vortex in forever :P
my old eip kit with a journal bearing turbonetics t04b hit full boost at like ~3k, absolutely roasted the tires all the time..I can imagine with two smaller turbos.. lol
you'd go insane with the amount of things needed. incredibly stiff spring rates, which would probably murder your back with each bump you hit. huge slicks, boost by gear, all types of "traction" bars...
by the way? awd > fwd. you can put 26" slicks on your car if you so please and still roast them. our platform sucks for power. mk4s are pigs.
why reinvent the wheel when the OP can just buy a turbo kit, run it on low boost, and get the same results? :P
gonna spool the k03s at idle? ;)
