I too plan on a preemptive water pump swap. What did it cost?
I went with the same wheel in gloss gray, with matching anodized center caps and Conti Sport Contact 5's. Love the lower rotating mass and the look.
What offset are you running?
It's been reported here that most if not all of the water pump failures happened to R's with either a February or March 2012 build date.
My car has a February 2012 birth date. It's been modded...
+1 on the Peg Perego for a newborn/infant. Very highly rated and very easy to attach/swap. Take prior advice, buy two bases.
Congrats on the new addition!
Me too, except I'm et 47. Never close to rubbing. In fact, I think the car needs to be lower front and rear.
Timely. I had this situation yesterday for the first time. I thought it might be an electrical problem and was contemplating taking to the dealer for a fix. Glad to learn it's not broken.
Is the install difficult?
Warranty covered? Any mods?
Jim in west Houston. Loaded CSG with some mods.
Spotted my first CSG R yesterday afternoon. It was on Wilcrest turning into Lakeside Estates around 4:30. Curious if it belongs to a Votexer? My R is CSG as well.
This. What offset are you running?
The guy who did the coding told me that whenever they code, if there's a flash it is removed by default. I learned that when I had to take the car back again the next day after the fuel guage issue...
Appreciate your input. Guess I will have to take it back to the dealer. A different dealer, however, this one I was not impressed with at all. Oh, and they unflashed my tune. Is that common?
Peak heat season here and I couldn't be more pleased by this A/C. Impressed and surprised, actually.
Yes, starting about 7 days in the car. Took it to the dealer and they claimed it was a loose connection at the fuel pump and that they corrected the problem. Fail! Since then the gauge works...
Take it back to the shop. I've got Stage 2+ and I can attest that the difference is significant. I find the car very quick with a boat load of torque.
