There is no benefit to vacuuming these. Costs would increase, fitment would be worse, and quality would suffer.
Could it be done? Sure. Is it worth it? Doubtful.
Quality work takes time. Soon.
Getting a little bit further along, the epoxy is a bit thicker now so you can see how much closer it is. Once this cures we'll start sanding it smooth.
It's already been sold a long time ago. I can always make more.
I buy it by the roll. It's not really for hobbyists as its pretty difficult and messy to work with.

Not a wrap, it's real carbon fiber.
Epoxy and clearcoat and a lot of hard work.
This stuff blows fake "wraps" out of the water. What you're seeing is a progress picture, it's got a...

Can't, not a vendor here and don't want to break any rules.
Few more teaser pics after they're all polished up. Going to install in the next couple days.
Not joking. Most of the stuff we make is for high end cars. Unfortunately, in my experience, VW owners aren't willing to pay the expense for high quality, real carbon fiber parts. I think I've...
It might be what I do for a living. :D
Of course. It's real carbon fiber.
Many of you might remember my post from a a few years ago about how I made silver "carbon fiber" trim for my GLI.
Because I don't want to sell a set that isn't perfect. Normally we charge $450 for these carbon fiber sets. If you're getting it for free (in exchange for a stock set of trim) you have an...
