Hawk HPS are the only pads I use. They stop well, produce very little dust, and last forever.

PCV grommet was leaking. Wasn't able to remove the PCV without damaging it so I had to take the valve cover off. Changed the valve cover gasket, pcv grommet, intake manifold gasket, TB gasket, egr...

Yeah just twist it back ever so gently.
They're interchangeable. US clusters have a white plug and a red plug in the back. Euro clusters only have the white plug. Not sure exactly what else the red one does, but the trunk open warning...
Probably so it doesn't blow apart when there's too much pressure.

The 1994 Jetta GLX "bubble" cluster went to 140mph. 1995-1999 VR6 clusters went to 160mph.

The B3 switch is plug and play but doesn't match the rest of the dash as nicely.
The B4 switch requires a little trimming and you have to change a few wires around.
Here's a little writeup I did...
Gonna have to expand on that-
The low fuel light was added midyear in 1996. An early 96 will not have a low fuel icon light, and a later 96 will have the low fuel icon light.
