3M tape it is - thank you!
So the mirror they sell at GAP is the glass and the sticky pad? And I just rip the current glue pad out of the housing and this new one snaps in?...
Driving around the other day and I noticed the side mirror glass on the passenger side was dangling off the actual housing. I pulled over and peeled it away from what seems to be a glue pad in the...
Hmmm that definitely opens up my options a bit. Seems like MK3 Grant wheel hubs are a bit harder to come by so my best option may be pulling the spline though.
Glad I have both options though.
Awesome - thanks! Appreciate it.
Since your post makes it sound like late MK2 spline is the same as MK3 splines does that means I can probably use a MK3 Grant hub on my late MK2 Jetta?
The hub on Summit Racing (linked below) says it fits 1991 Volkswagen, but only the Fox. Every other Jetta it fits is 1980 - 1988, which I assume means its small spline.
I've been searching online and on Vortex and wondering if someone can help out.
My buddy had an extra aftermarket Grant steering wheel that has 5 mounting holes on it. He didn't need it so I took...
I guess I'll show up.
Bump for an answer from the seller.
Dude you are amazing - thank you SO much for all your help.
Wheel is back on and the horn button works like a charm!
Maybe one day I will take it all apart and build a DIY for those wondering....
Okay so my last question for you because that makes a lot of sense and I actually get that and I should be good.
There is a pin to the left of the "two-wire pin" that has a spade on the end of it...
So both connectors on the back of the horn go to the clockspring? The wire coming out of the harness that splits into two at the horn plate?
I thought someone mentioned something about grounding,...
My new horn button finally came in so here are some pictures below.
Basically in the Momo hub box I had female spade to female spade wires (assuming these are for ground) and then female spade to...
Awesome - when I get the horn button shipped to me I'll post a picture of the harness.
Do you happen to have a picture of yours so I can see if it matches mine?
Appreciate all the help BTW!
Grabbed one - thanks.
So now one connector goes to positive and one goes to ground on the connector on the clockspring?
Thanks for all your help - just new to this stuff.
Last bump - is it possible to make it work with one connector on the horn button?
If not, where can I buy a two connector horn button?
For example - this only has one "connector" correct?...
Are these my old wheels? Where did these come from?
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 4
Okay my horn button only has one connector on the back - maybe ill just hold off on the horn for now and do train horns or just start flipping people off.
I'll keep this up top for a few days to...
Hate to bump an old thread, but does anyone have advice on horn wiring?
My Nardi horn is definitely one switch (one gold connector on the back), but the diagrams in the Momo hub don't make any...
